The Manesar Municipal Corporation has taken strong action against illegal advertising structures across its jurisdiction. Civic officials removed more than twenty-eight hoardings that were installed without proper permission on unipoles throughout the corporation area.
Targeted Removal Across Key Locations
Municipal teams conducted removal operations in several prominent areas. They focused their efforts on Sector 76, Sector 84, Sector 85, and Sector 86. The action also extended to Sati Chauk and Sikanderpur Badha village along with surrounding regions.
Local police provided necessary assistance during the enforcement drive. This collaboration ensured the smooth execution of the removal process without any major disruptions.
Digital Survey Preceded Enforcement Action
Joint Commissioner Lokesh Yadav explained the corporation's approach to tackling illegal advertisements. "We issued multiple warnings to those installing unauthorized hoardings," Yadav stated clearly. "Our teams conducted comprehensive digital surveys and GIS mapping of all unipole sites before taking action."
The official emphasized that the corporation will continue targeting all hoardings installed without proper authorization. This systematic approach aims to eliminate illegal advertising structures completely.
Legal Consequences for Violators
The municipal corporation plans to pursue legal action against responsible parties. Officials confirmed they will file First Information Reports against those who installed illegal hoardings. The corporation will also levy substantial fines on violators.
"These unauthorized structures cause significant revenue losses to the corporation," Yadav noted. "We cannot tolerate such violations of municipal regulations."
Broader Digital Land Survey Initiative
Simultaneously, the civic body has launched an important digital land survey project. This initiative falls under the central government's Naksha project framework. The program aims to create comprehensive digital records for every property within municipal limits.
This digital documentation effort forms part of the larger Digital India Land Records Modernisation Programme. The project seeks to modernize land record management through technological solutions.
The combined actions against illegal hoardings and the digital survey initiative demonstrate the corporation's commitment to better urban governance. These measures address both immediate enforcement needs and long-term administrative improvements.
