The Haryana government has intensified its revenue sector reforms by launching a statewide training programme for revenue officials and a special campaign to clear pending demarcation cases. Final preparations are underway for the rollout of the advanced Paperless Registration 2.0 platform.
Financial Commissioner, Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Dr Sumita Misra, announced on Sunday that the new digital platform is designed to modernise the registration ecosystem through end-to-end online processing with zero physical paperwork. The system will facilitate online application submission, digital document uploads, Aadhaar-based authentication, e-signatures, online fee payment, real-time verification, secure data storage, and automated workflow management.
Dr Misra stated that the initiative will significantly reduce citizens' dependence on visits to government offices, minimise manual intervention, enhance transparency and accountability, and ensure faster service delivery. The platform is also expected to improve governance efficiency and strengthen the ease of doing business in the state.
To ensure smooth implementation, the department has prepared detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and user manuals covering all operational modules. A statewide training programme is being conducted through video conferencing for revenue officers and field staff across districts. Master trainers have been identified and trained in every district to support officials in adopting the new digital processes. The training exercise is expected to be completed within a week.
Dr Misra emphasised that enhancing the digital capabilities of patwaris, kanungos, and other revenue personnel is essential for uniform implementation of reforms and for removing procedural bottlenecks at the field level.
Meanwhile, the department has launched a 10-day special drive across all districts to dispose of pending demarcation cases.
