The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially announced the results of the Computer Based Examination (CBE) conducted for the recruitment of Head Constable (Ministerial) in the Delhi Police. Candidates who successfully cleared the examination have been shortlisted for the subsequent phases of the selection process, which include the Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT), Document Verification (DV), and Trade Test (Skill Test).
Examination Overview
The Computer Based Examination was held nationwide from January 7 to January 12, 2026. A large number of candidates appeared for the test across multiple centers. Since the examination was conducted in various shifts, the SSC employed a normalization method to ensure fairness in the evaluation process. The normalized scores, calculated as per the previously notified formula, were used to determine the candidates' eligibility for the next stage.
Minimum Qualifying Marks
To be considered for shortlisting, candidates had to secure the minimum qualifying marks in the CBE. The cut-off percentages were as follows: 40% for Unreserved (UR) and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) categories, 35% for Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC), and 30% for Persons with Disabilities (PwD) and Ex-Servicemen (ESM).
