Patna: Vice-chancellor of Central University of South Bihar (CUSB), Kameshwar Nath Singh, on Sunday emphasised the crucial role of education in individual growth and nation-building. Delivering the valedictory address at the conclusion of a three-day workshop organised by CUSB in collaboration with IGNOU, Patna region, Singh reaffirmed the university's dedication to providing quality education for the holistic development of students.
Teachers as Torch-Bearers of Society
Singh stated that teachers are the torch-bearers of society, and their classroom performance shapes students' careers. He stressed that integrity, empathy, and commitment are indispensable qualities of an effective teacher. He added that value-based education is the need of the hour for the entire country.
Workshop Impact and Certificate Distribution
Appreciating the organisation and academic design of the workshop, the VC observed that such initiatives play a crucial role in equipping teachers with both theoretical understanding and practical competencies required to address the evolving needs of the education system. He also gave away certificates to all successful participants. At the outset, workshop director Ravi Kant welcomed the participants.
