Youth Congress protests exam paper leaks in Dhanbad

The State Youth Congress on Monday organized a 'Halla Bol' protest in Dhanbad against repeated cases of competitive examination paper leaks, demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Raising slogans against the Union government, party workers marched from IIT (ISM), Dhanbad, to Randhir Verma Chowk via the Police Centre area.

Large turnout at rally

A large number of Youth Congress workers and supporters joined the rally, alleging that repeated examination irregularities had shattered the confidence of students and job aspirants across the nation. Carrying banners and placards, the demonstrators accused the Centre of failing to ensure transparency and fairness in recruitment and entrance examinations. They demanded strict measures to prevent future paper leaks.

Address by Youth Congress state president

Addressing a gathering at Randhir Verma Chowk, Youth Congress state president Kumar Gaurav said, “Repeated incidents of paper leaks are severely affecting the future of lakhs of youths in the country. The credibility of competitive examinations is being questioned, leading to frustration and anger among students preparing for government jobs and higher education opportunities.”
