As of March 2026, P H Manoj Pandian, also known as Manoj Pandian, of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) serves as the current Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA). He won the seat in the 2021 Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly election, securing 74,153 votes, which accounted for 36.44% of the total votes cast. His victory came with a margin of 3,539 votes over his closest rival, Poongothai of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), who received 70,614 votes. The voter turnout in the constituency stood at 77.4% during the 2021 election. Notably, there have been no changes in the constituency's boundaries or representation since then.
