The 19th edition of the Rozgar Mela was organized by the Varanasi Division at the Banaras Locomotive Works on Saturday. The event saw the participation of Union Minister Anupriya Patel, MLA Sunil Patel, Divisional Railway Manager of North Eastern Railway Ashish Jain, along with senior officers from various departments.
Simultaneous Centres Across the Country
This mega recruitment drive was conducted simultaneously at 47 centres across the nation, ensuring widespread reach for job seekers.

Union Minister Anupriya Patel extended her best wishes to the newly appointed youth and inspired them to work with honesty, a spirit of service, and commitment. Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed young candidates across the country through virtual mode, urging them to actively participate in nation-building and discharge their responsibilities with dedication.
Through the 19th Rozgar Mela, more than 51,000 youth were distributed appointment letters across the country. These included candidates from various crucial sectors such as Railways, Financial Services, Postal Department, Ministry of Defence, Airports Authority of India, Employees’ State Insurance Corporation, and other departments.
The Rozgar Mela is a flagship initiative of the Indian government aimed at providing employment opportunities to the youth. This edition underscores the government's commitment to job creation and economic empowerment.
