Chief of Defense Staff General Anil Chauhan and Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi extended greetings to all ranks, families, veterans, and veer naris. They recalled the Army's pivotal role in Operation Sindoor during their addresses.
General Dwivedi stated the Indian Army is transforming into a future-ready force. He mentioned well-trained soldiers, modern equipment, and multi-domain operational capabilities as key components. Technology plays a crucial role in enhancing soldier capabilities, according to the Army Chief.
He stressed the strategic necessity of indigenous equipment. Dwivedi noted a clear shift in the Army's thinking over recent years.
