Nanda Gopal Maity, who works at a flower shop in New Market, has prepared by stocking approximately 2,500 local red roses of the 'mainauperle' variety and about 500 export-quality roses from Bangalore. Uttam Maity, who works at Luna Nursery, mentioned being a bit sceptical about the demand on V-Day due to the ongoing exams, suggesting that academic schedules might slightly temper sales. On a positive note, Krishna Chandra Mondal of Maishora reported that "The yield of red rose was good", indicating favorable growing conditions that support the supply side.
