Rajvansh Srivastava, assistant commissioner of food safety, provided detailed insights into the ongoing investigation. "Our teams are simultaneously examining supply-chain documents to trace the origin and distribution pathways of these products."
The official further explained that preliminary examinations revealed significant packaging irregularities. "Prima facie, we have identified multiple packaging violations that contravene established standards. However, the final course of action will be determined based on the laboratory analysis results," Srivastava emphasized, indicating that more stringent measures could follow depending on test outcomes.
