In Noida, the three-day festivities will commence on January 24 at 12 noon with an inaugural ceremony at Noida Shilp Haat in Sector 33. The event will be inaugurated by Sunil Kumar Sharma, the cabinet minister for electronics and information technology. Public representatives from the district are expected to attend this significant ceremony, which carries the theme "Developed Uttar Pradesh – Developed India."

The Noida venue will feature approximately 120 stalls that will present diverse exhibitions highlighting various government initiatives and cultural aspects. These include:

Honoring Achievers and Showcasing Local Products

The district administration has planned special recognition ceremonies to honor outstanding contributors across various sectors. Youth, women, farmers, artisans, entrepreneurs, and other achievers will be acknowledged for their significant contributions in their respective fields.

District Development Officer Shiv Pratap Parmesh emphasized that visitors will have the opportunity to explore and purchase authentic crafts, textiles, and specialty products from different districts of Uttar Pradesh. The food stalls will serve traditional cuisine, with special emphasis on millet-based dishes that reflect the state's culinary diversity.

"The idea is to bring the richness of Uttar Pradesh under one roof and allow people to engage directly with artisans and producers," Parmesh stated, highlighting the event's focus on direct community engagement and cultural preservation.

Cultural Programs and Student Participation

Cultural activities are expected to be a major attraction throughout the celebrations. School students will actively participate in various performances including:

  1. Street plays addressing social issues
  2. Traditional group dances showcasing regional art forms
  3. Musical performances representing Uttar Pradesh's diverse cultural traditions

Ghaziabad's Parallel Celebrations

Ghaziabad will simultaneously host its own celebrations at the Deendayal Auditorium, with cabinet minister Narendra Kashyap inaugurating the events. The city will feature twenty-five departmental stalls displaying:

  • Public welfare schemes and their implementation
  • District development works and progress reports
  • The government's flagship initiatives and their impact

Officials confirmed that these stalls will provide detailed information about scheme benefits, eligibility criteria, and application processes, ensuring maximum public awareness and participation.

Special Features and Community Engagement

Cultural programs will be organized inside the auditorium, featuring performances by local artists and cultural groups. A special Beti Bachao Beti Padhao selfie point will be established at the venue to promote the girl child education and empowerment campaign.

Additional stalls will offer traditional food and beverages from the district, allowing visitors to experience authentic local cuisine. The celebrations aim to create a comprehensive platform that combines cultural preservation, developmental showcase, and public engagement, reflecting Uttar Pradesh's journey toward progress while honoring its rich heritage.
