Deputy Commissioner CN Sreedhara responded swiftly to the discovery. He issued an official order prohibiting public entry to the excavation site. The ban extends to photography and videography by private individuals. Authorities aim to protect the sensitive archaeological area from potential damage or disturbance.
"We must preserve this historical site properly," explained a district official. "Unauthorized access could compromise important findings."
Local Community Voices Strong Opposition
