Stories of Courage Shine at Nari Gaurav Samman Event in Yamunanagar
The Sneh Seva Trust and Bajrang Rashtriya Seva Samiti organized a Nari Gaurav Samman programme at the Geeta Bhawan temple in Yamunanagar, where over 25 women were honored for their significant contributions to society. Additional Municipal Commissioner Dheeraj Kumar attended the event as the chief guest, highlighting the importance of such initiatives in fostering community respect and inspiration.
Honoring Women for Excellence and Service
During the programme, chief guest Dheeraj Kumar, along with Mamta Sen, director of Sneh Seva Trust, and Atul Grover, president of Bajrang Rashtriya Seva Samiti, felicitated women excelling in various fields by presenting them with mementos, certificates, and awards. The honorees included Meenakshi Sharma, Deepika, Gurpreet, Rinkle Oberoi, Lalit, Aman, Santosh, Mukta, Nisha, Rajni, Rekha, Usha, Sunita, Meenu Narang, Vibha Sharma, Meenu, Mamta, Aarti, Shalini, Nitasha, Roma, and Maya Devi, among others.
Additionally, five women were specifically recognized for their outstanding work at the sewing centre of the Geeta Bhawan temple, showcasing diverse areas of achievement and dedication.
Inspiring Stories of Resilience and Compassion
Mamta Sen, director of Sneh Seva Trust, shared inspiring anecdotes about the awardees. She noted that Meenakshi Sharma has been providing free meals to the needy every day at Geeta Bhawan since 2014, demonstrating unwavering commitment to community service.
Sen also highlighted the story of Rajni, a resident of Saraswati Nagar, who has been supporting her family by driving an e-rickshaw after her husband's death. Rajni is independently funding her daughter's education, exemplifying resilience and determination in the face of adversity.
Messages of Encouragement and Gratitude
Chief guest Dheeraj Kumar emphasized that individuals who take the lead in social service and overcome challenges truly deserve respect. He added that such programmes send a positive message to society and inspire others to contribute meaningfully.
