Citizens from diverse religious backgrounds assembled at the historic Archbishop House on Park Street, collectively renewing their commitment to the foundational principles of the Indian Constitution.

The event, titled "We The Republic," was organized by the United Interfaith Foundation, India. It brought together a broad spectrum of participants, including religious leaders, faith representatives, community elders, youth activists, and women from various spiritual traditions. Together, they recited a solemn pledge to uphold the core values enshrined in the Constitution's Preamble: justice, liberty, equality, fraternity, and secularism.

Most Reverend Elias Frank, the Archbishop of Calcutta and President of the United Interfaith Foundation, India, emphasized the profound significance of the gathering.
