Dastak Youth Festival 2025 Launches in Lucknow with Focus on Nature and UP Heritage

The vibrant 18th edition of the three-day 'Dastak' youth festival officially opened its doors on Tuesday at the International Buddhist Research Centre in Lucknow. This year's festival carries the compelling theme 'Nature, environment and UP', aiming to weave together ecological awareness with the rich cultural tapestry of Uttar Pradesh.

A Collaborative Effort for Youth Empowerment

The festival is being organized with significant support from a consortium of partners, including the Uttar Pradesh tourism department, the Yuva club, and Ecotourism initiatives. Its core mission remains to provide a dynamic and inclusive platform for students from across the region to showcase their diverse talents and creativity.

Convener Sangita Jaiswal emphasized the festival's broader vision, stating, "The theme of the fest is strategically chosen to promote ecotourism and the unparalleled cultural heritage of Uttar Pradesh. It highlights the pivotal role of our youth as proactive change-makers in society."
