All preparations have been meticulously completed for the two-day programme, which will be led by Ganapathi Sachchidananda Swami of the Avadootha Datta Peeta. Addressing a joint press conference after inspecting the site, BJP MLA TS Srivatsa and Congress MLA K Harishgowda described the event as historic. On Thursday, a section of Congress functionaries visited the site, followed by BJP functionaries joining them on Friday for a joint press meet. Key figures present included City BJP chief and former MLA L Nagendra, Congress functionary and former Muda chairman HV Rajeeva, and Narayana, former chairman of the Karnataka State Commission for Safaikarmachris.
