AIIMS Rajkot Prepares for Landmark First Convocation Ceremony

President Droupadi Murmu to Grace the Occasion as Chief Guest
In a statement released by AIIMS Rajkot, it was confirmed that the President of India, Droupadi Murmu, will preside over the convocation as the chief guest. Her Excellency is set to deliver the convocation address, a speech that will undoubtedly inspire the graduating cohort. Furthermore, President Murmu will personally present the degree certificates and medals to the deserving students, adding a layer of national prestige to the proceedings.

Degrees and Medals to Be Awarded to Graduating Students
A total of 49 students from the MBBS program will be awarded their hard-earned degrees during the convocation. In addition to this, one student will receive a postdoctoral certificate in virology, showcasing the institute's commitment to specialized research and advanced medical training. To recognize academic excellence, President Murmu will also present 10 medals to meritorious students. This includes four gold medals, three silver medals, and three bronze medals, celebrating the top performers in the batch.
