The incident occurred on Saturday outside the district hospital in Auraiya. The woman had travelled to the medical facility solely to accompany her niece, who was there for delivery. Stepping out with family members for a quick snack, she reached for a golgappa at a roadside stall. As she opened her mouth wide to take the customary bite, her jaw suddenly snapped out of place without any prior warning.
Initially, her relatives chuckled, mistaking her inability to close her mouth for an exaggerated reaction. However, their amusement quickly turned to concern when they saw her eyes well up with tears of intense pain and her desperate gestures for help. Realising the situation was serious, they immediately rushed her back into the district hospital for treatment.
