During medical assessment at AIIMS Bhubaneswar, doctors detected issues related to the stents that had been previously placed in the arteries of his heart during his earlier angioplasty procedure. After keeping him under observation for two days, the medical team decided to refer him to AIIMS New Delhi for further management and specialized care.
Dr. Dillip Kumar Parida, the medical superintendent at AIIMS Bhubaneswar, confirmed that the minister left for New Delhi around 10 am on Thursday, traveling by flight from Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar. Dr. Parida emphasized that there was no emergency situation and the transfer was a planned procedure.

Dr. Parida explained that since Pujari had previously undergone angioplasty at AIIMS New Delhi, he preferred to have his cardiac condition evaluated at the same facility where his original procedure was performed. The medical team at AIIMS Bhubaneswar supported this decision and advised him accordingly.
The medical superintendent praised the minister's prompt action in seeking medical attention after noticing symptoms suggestive of a heart-related issue. He noted that Pujari came for a check-up as a precautionary measure and was in stable condition before departing for Delhi.
