The initiative, named the KK Aurora Light of Hope Fund, was officially launched on February 28, 2024, on World Rare Disease Day.

The fund is named in honour of Kewal Krishan Aurora, the late father of Pharmed Group's Chairperson, Ms. Bhavna Aurora.
