Dr Singh emphasized the critical importance of timely investigation and treatment, stating that proactive medical intervention can effectively help control the disease and prevent severe complications.

Faculty member Dr Susmita Saxena expanded on the warning by highlighting other potential indicators of rare oral diseases. She pointed out that persistent oral ulcers or red skin lesions around the mouth that fail to heal within 10 to 15 days despite medication may signal serious conditions affecting the oral and perioral region. "Such symptoms should be evaluated by a specialist to rule out serious underlying conditions," Dr Saxena advised, underscoring the necessity of professional medical assessment.
