When Khushi was found crying outside the Chief Minister's residence in Lucknow, police officers took her to the station. Following the Chief Minister's instructions, Khushi underwent cochlear implant surgery on January 26, which was performed successfully. "Khushi has now started hearing," Dr. Mehrotra reported. "She is trying to speak in broken words. As she hears the pronunciation of words, she will try to speak. She is being given speech therapy."
The doctor added that Khushi is expected to develop complete speech capabilities within three to four months with continued therapy and support.

Khushi's mother, Geeta Gupta, a resident of Gwaltoli in Kanpur, expressed profound gratitude for the transformation in her daughter's life. "But now after CM Yogiji's efforts and the surgery my daughter has gradually started speaking and hearing," she said, her voice filled with emotion.
