Exam Pattern, Selection, and Salary Details
The AIIMS NORCET selection is based on performance in the two-tier CBT. Stage I will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) carrying 100 marks. The paper will cover general knowledge, aptitude, and nursing subjects. A negative marking scheme of one-third mark deduction for each wrong answer will be applied.
Stage II will be more comprehensive, featuring 160 MCQs drawn from the nursing curriculum. Each stage will have a duration of three hours, with the same negative marking rule in effect.
Successful candidates appointed as Nursing Officers will be placed in Pay Level 7 of the pay matrix. This translates to a handsome monthly salary ranging from approximately Rs. 44,900 to Rs. 70,000. These are nationwide posts, offering a stable and rewarding career in India's premier medical institutions.
Aspiring Nursing Officers are advised to mark their calendars for January 2026 and prepare diligently for the upcoming AIIMS NORCET 10, which promises a significant career opportunity in the public healthcare sector.
