NMCH treated 6,28,633 outdoor patients during this period. The facility also cared for 47,945 indoor patients who required hospitalization. Emergency services remained busy with 54,145 consultations conducted. Surgical teams performed 8,655 major operations and 8,799 minor procedures.
Diagnostic services showed impressive activity levels:
- Hospital radiologists completed 1,02,248 x-ray examinations
- Medical staff conducted 81,591 ultrasound procedures
- Technicians performed 14,593 CT scans
- The facility completed 5,849 MRI examinations
Under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, 1,559 patients received necessary medical treatment. This government healthcare initiative continues to support vulnerable populations.
Infrastructure and Administrative Directives
Commissioner Parashar addressed several infrastructure and administrative challenges. He directed the sub-divisional officer of Patna City to take immediate action. The officer must remove all encroachments and illegal constructions occupying hospital land.
