Hazaribag: Deputy Commissioner Hemant Sati on Tuesday conducted an inspection of Sheikh Bhikhari Medical College and Hospital to assess the quality of patient care services and healthcare facilities available at the institution.
Parking and ambulance review
Sati examined the parking arrangements on the campus and reviewed the availability and number of ambulances. He directed civic body officials to streamline parking management to ensure better traffic flow within the hospital premises.
Jan Aushadhi centres
Noting the high patient load, the Deputy Commissioner instructed officials to increase the number of Jan Aushadhi centres and medicine counters. This measure aims to enable patients to access essential drugs in a timely and hassle-free manner.
According to a statement issued by the district administration, Sati also assessed critical infrastructure, including cold chain systems and electricity supply, to ensure uninterrupted healthcare services.
