Second Free Mega Heart Check-up Camp Announced for Lucknow Residents
The Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation, Uttar Pradesh, has announced the organization of a second free Mega Heart check-up camp, scheduled to take place on March 15 at Chancellor Club in Lucknow. This initiative is designed to provide timely diagnosis and treatment for individuals suffering from heart-related ailments, with a strong focus on ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder access to essential cardiac care.
Eligibility and Registration Details
The camp is open to a wide demographic, welcoming individuals from newborns to senior citizens up to 65 years of age. However, eligibility is specifically targeted at those with a monthly income below Rs 35,000, aiming to support low-income families who might otherwise struggle to afford medical services. Registration for the camp is open until March 8, as confirmed by Sachin Neb, the State President of Shri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation of UP. Interested participants are encouraged to sign up promptly to secure their spot.
Building on Past Success
This humanitarian effort follows the remarkable outcomes of last year's programme, which demonstrated significant impact. During the previous camp, approximately 480 patients underwent comprehensive heart check-ups. Out of these screenings, nearly 196 patients were identified as requiring surgical intervention and subsequently received completely free heart surgeries. This success underscores the camp's effectiveness in not only diagnosing but also facilitating critical treatments for those in need.
Objectives and Community Impact
The primary objective of this camp is to bridge the gap in cardiac healthcare by offering free services to underserved populations. By focusing on early diagnosis and intervention, the initiative aims to prevent severe heart conditions and improve overall public health outcomes in the region. The Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation's guidance ensures that the camp operates with a commitment to compassion and service, reinforcing its role in community welfare.
