National Institute of Ayurveda in Panchkula Sees High Patient Influx

The National Institute of Ayurveda (NIA) in Panchkula is experiencing a remarkable surge in patient visits. More than 500 individuals seek ayurvedic treatment and Panchakarma therapies at the institute every single day. This high footfall highlights the growing trust in traditional healing methods among the local population and beyond.

Comprehensive Healthcare Services

The institute's hospital operates twelve outpatient departments (OPDs) along with a fully functional 100-bed inpatient facility. This setup ensures that patients receive thorough and continuous care. Since October 16, 2023, the NIA has been providing daily health services that include OPD consultations, Panchakarma therapy, ECG, and free blood sugar testing. Patients also benefit from receiving high-quality medicines at no cost, making healthcare accessible to many.

The institute offers the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) programme, which skillfully blends classical Ayurveda with modern medical science.
