Shambhala Horror Film Makes Strong Theatrical Debut
The Telugu supernatural horror thriller Shambhala has opened to positive audience response in theaters. Director Ugandhar Muni's film, starring Aadi Saikumar, released during the Christmas window and will soon make its digital debut.
Plot and Setting of the Supernatural Thriller
The story of Shambhala unfolds in the 1980s within a small, peaceful village. Life takes a dramatic turn when a meteor crashes near the settlement. Following this celestial event, villagers begin exhibiting strange behavior. Several mysterious deaths occur, spreading fear throughout the community. Residents suspect supernatural forces at work.
Scientist Vikram, portrayed by Aadi Saikumar, arrives to investigate. He aims to study the meteor and uncover the truth through scientific methods. Archana Iyer plays Devi, a local woman who helps Vikram understand the village's traditional beliefs and folklore.
Following the film's theatrical success, the production team recently unveiled the Hindi-dubbed version trailer, expanding its potential audience reach.

The film features an ensemble cast alongside lead actors Aadi Saikumar and Archana Iyer. Swasika Vijay plays a significant role in the narrative. Supporting actors include:

Shambhala will begin streaming on the OTT platform Aha starting January 22, 2026. Aha Gold subscribers will receive early access to the content on January 21, 2026.
The streaming service announced this development through their official social media account. They posted: "Step into a mystical world where myths come alive and destiny roars. #AadiShambhala Premieres 22nd Jan only on #aha (24hrs early access for aha gold users)"
According to trade analyst Sacnilk, the film has generated approximately Rs 20.21 crore in worldwide box office revenue since its theatrical release.
