The long-running reality spectacle reaches its climax this evening. After more than 110 dramatic days inside the famous house, Bigg Boss Kannada Season 12 will crown its champion. Only six contestants remain from the original group of twenty-four. These finalists entered the house back on September 25 last year. The group includes actor Ashwini Gowda, Dhanush Gowda, Gilli Nata, Kavya Shaiva, the contestant known as ‘Mutant’ Raghu, and Rakshita Shetty.
Rakshita Shetty's journey proves particularly remarkable. Her fellow housemates actually evicted her on the very first day. However, she made a stunning return to the competition on day seven. Raghu also joined the show later as a wildcard entry, fighting his way to the final stage.
Audience Poll Strongly Favors Gilli Nata
A recent poll conducted by SCREEN on platform X asked viewers to pick their winner. The results showed a clear favorite. Gilli Nata dominated the survey with a commanding 68.8% of the total votes.
Rakshita Shetty followed in second place with 25% support. Ashwini Gowda received 6.3% of the votes. The poll delivered a major surprise regarding Dhanush Gowda. He failed to secure a single vote. Both Ragu and Kavya managed to get just one vote each in the audience survey.
Host Kichcha Sudeep Returns for Season Finale
Kannada superstar Kichcha Sudeep continues his hosting duties. He has anchored the popular show for twelve consecutive seasons since its 2013 debut. Sudeep will oversee the dramatic conclusion of this season's competition.
The season began with an unusual twist. The live audience voted on whether each contestant would enter the house alone or as part of a duo. A contestant needed at least 75% of votes to enter solo. This paired format lasted only until day fifteen. After that point, the competition switched completely to individual gameplay.
