The upcoming television show Mukkabaaz has undergone a significant casting overhaul. Earlier reports indicated that Harshad Chopda and Fahmaan Khan were being considered for the male lead, while Eshaa Pathak and Munira Kudrati were in the running for the female lead. However, the producers have now decided to bring in an entirely fresh cast.
New Leads Confirmed
Zain Imam, who was last seen in Suman Indori, has been finalized to play the male lead. Jahnvi Soni, known for her role in Paro Sang Dev, has been locked to portray the female protagonist. A source associated with the project revealed, "Harshad was in contention, but the deal with him did not work out. We decided to bring in a fresh cast to give the show a new approach. We are slightly behind schedule with the shoot because the casting process took time. However, we will begin shooting soon."
Supporting Cast
Seasoned actors Sangeeta Kapure and Yash Tonk will also play pivotal roles in the series, adding depth to the narrative.

As previously reported, the story of Mukkabaaz revolves around a man who once aspired to become a boxer but could not fulfill his dream. Years later, he discovers immense potential in a young woman and takes it upon himself to mentor her, eventually shaping her into a formidable force in the boxing world. The narrative blends ambition, resilience, and emotional conflict, with the makers confident that the underdog journey will resonate strongly with viewers.
