Indian television actor Sandeep Baswana recently took a heartfelt trip down memory lane, celebrating a significant milestone for a show that defined an era for many viewers. The actor marked the 22nd anniversary of the beloved series 'Kkoi Dil Mein Hai' by sharing a wave of nostalgia on social media.

A Blast from the Past on Instagram

The 47-year-old actor commemorated the occasion by posting a candid collage of pictures from the early 2000s on his Instagram account. The photos, radiating pure joy, captured the cast smiling brightly during the show's production days. Baswana accompanied the throwback images with the hashtag #22yearsofkkoidilmeinhai and sentiments celebrating love and friendship, core themes of the series.

'Kkoi Dil Mein Hai' first graced television screens on December 21, 2003. The show quickly became a fan favourite, weaving a compelling narrative around dramatic relationships, fragile friendships, and a classic love triangle. It starred a talented ensemble including Sandeep Baswana, Eijaz Khan, Poorva Gokhale, Karisma Tanna, and Jennifer Winget. The story of manipulation, destiny, and characters eventually ending up together despite odds captured the audience's imagination, making it a quintessential Y2K-era drama.

Personal Milestone: A Long-Awaited Wedding

While reminiscing about his professional journey, Baswana is also celebrating a major personal milestone. The actor recently tied the knot with his long-time partner, Ashlesha Savant, after being together for 23 years. The couple got married on November 16, 2025.

In a conversation with the Times of India, Baswana revealed that a visit to Vrindavan in April 2025 inspired them to finally formalise their union. Feeling a deep connection at the Radha Krishna temples, they decided it was the right time. When asked if getting the legal tag changed anything, the actor shared a simple, heartfelt response: "I don't feel anything different. It was something we were going to do someday, and it finally happened. We’re happy and overwhelmed with the love and blessings."

From Co-stars to Soulmates

Recalling how they met, Baswana told the Free Press Journal that their paths first crossed on the sets of the iconic show 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi', where Savant played his brother's wife. Their professional rapport later blossomed into romance when she played his love interest in his show 'Kammal'.

"I spent a lot of time with her," Baswana said, reflecting on their early days. "I am just happy that she is around me all the time, bringing me so much joy. She was and is my soulmate." This enduring relationship, which began on a television set, has now been celebrated with a wedding, completing a beautiful real-life story for the actor.
