The drive-in theater screened numerous popular films, regional favorites, and special events, becoming a beloved attraction for locals and tourists alike. However, the property has been leased out to a private party, leading to the closure of the theater.
"The property — Lake View Ashoka has been leased out to a private party. The final shows run until May 31," said Dinesh Shourie, manager of the MPT-run Lake View Ashoka.
