According to Rayjan Rajan, the troubling behavior began approximately six years ago when the woman, who had previously worked as a junior artist on set, started sending him inappropriate and sexually explicit messages. When the actor chose not to respond to her advances, the situation quickly intensified into what has become a prolonged nightmare.
Mridhula, who plays Rayjan's on-screen wife in the television serial Ishtam Mathram, came forward to support her co-star and provided additional disturbing details about the harassment. She revealed that the woman began calling Rayjan from multiple phone numbers, alternating between angry outbursts, yelling sessions, and sudden apologies before returning to sending vulgar messages.
Alarming Escalation and Set Intrusions
The harassment reached frightening new levels over the past three years, with two particularly alarming incidents occurring at their shooting location. In one instance, the stalker attempted to approach Rayjan during a shoot. When the actor moved away, she allegedly grabbed him by his shirt in an attempt to pull him back toward her.
In another disturbing incident, after previously being banned from the set, the woman reportedly entered the shooting area disguised in a veil and approached the actor while he was preparing for a shot. She attempted to offer him chocolates, an action that immediately raised concerns among the crew members who recognized her despite the disguise.

According to screenshots and accounts shared by Mridhula, the woman's messages to Rayjan included violent threats such as: "If you don't respond to me, I'll smash a beer bottle on your head." Mridhula expressed grave concern about the potential danger, noting that someone who approaches with chocolates one day could return with acid another time.
She also emphasized the significant emotional burden Rayjan has carried throughout this ordeal, explaining that he remained silent for years because men often struggle to receive support or be taken seriously when they speak out about harassment.
