Kannada superstar Yash is set to star in the upcoming gangster action drama Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups, directed by Geetu Mohandas. Fans have been eagerly awaiting news about the film's release, and recent speculation suggested that the team was considering reshoots. However, the makers have now officially denied these reports.
Makers Dismiss Reshoot Claims
Recent online reports claimed that Toxic would undergo major reshoots and that its release had been pushed to 2027. According to Valai Pechu, an update shared by Christopher Kanagaraj, the makers have seemingly dismissed these rumors. This has brought some relief to fans who were concerned about another delay. However, the production team has not made any official announcement regarding the film's release date, leaving the project's exact status unclear for now.
Additionally, reports suggest that the film's OTT deal has not yet been finalized.
About Toxic
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic is a period action thriller featuring Yash as Raya, seen in a dual avatar as shown in teasers released earlier this year. This marks Yash's 19th film and his first since the KGF movies.
