Hyderabad: Two persons, including a Tollywood actor and a cameraman, lost their lives in a road accident after their car collided with a truck from behind at Bonguluru near Exit 12 on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) in the early hours of Sunday.
Victims Identified
According to Adibatla police, the deceased were identified as Bharat Kanth (31) and cameraman Trilok. Both died on the spot. The impact of the collision completely mangled their car. The accident occurred while they were returning to Hyderabad from the Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh.
Details of the Journey
Officials stated that the two had started their journey on Saturday night. At around 3 am, they took the ORR at Peddamberpet and were heading towards Shamshabad. The duo resided in Nanakramguda. Using the phones of the deceased and their vehicle's registration number, the police identified them.
Background of the Actor
Bharat had acted as a lead actor in a Tollywood movie, besides playing character roles in a few other films. Both individuals had come to Hyderabad nearly 10 years ago to pursue careers in the Telugu film industry.
Cause and Investigation
Police suspect rash and negligent driving to be the cause of the accident. A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway.
