Tollywood star Ram Charan, who gained global fame after the massive success of 'RRR,' especially in Japan, has seen his latest film 'Peddi' attract international attention. Two of his devoted fans from Japan traveled all the way to Hyderabad to watch the movie in theaters.

Japanese Fans Arrive in Hyderabad for 'Peddi'

A video of the two fans, identified as Masami and Kris from Tokyo, interacting with the media outlet Telugu 70mm at the airport is going viral on the internet. During the conversation, the duo revealed that they took a five-day vacation from work and flew to Hyderabad specifically to watch 'Peddi' in theaters. They arrived two days before the film's release to enjoy the complete theatrical experience and be part of the celebrations surrounding the film.

The fans also shared their plans to watch 'Peddi' 10 times during their stay. They intend to watch the movie in both multiplexes and single-screen theaters to experience different kinds of audience reactions and fan celebrations.

Earlier, before the film's release, reports surfaced that 'Peddi' was expected to release in Japan along with its worldwide launch but was canceled at the last minute due to technical reasons.

About 'Peddi'

Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, 'Peddi' features Ram Charan as an elite sportsman from a village, skilled in cricket, wrestling, and spirit. The film also features Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead, along with Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyenndu, Boman Irani, Ravi Kishan, and others in key roles.

'Peddi' Box Office Numbers

According to trade analyst Sacnilk, the film opened at Rs 51 crore in India on the first day. On the second day, the film added Rs 26.90 crore, bringing the total to Rs 96.40 crore after two days in India. Additionally, the film crossed the Rs 150 crore mark globally.
