Prabhas is actively working on his upcoming war-period action drama titled 'Fauzi,' directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, who is renowned for his work on 'Sita Rama.' The project has been in production for an extended period, and according to the latest reports, the movie is now approaching completion.
'Fauzi' Shoot Status
As per a report by 123Telugu, Cherry, the CEO of the production house, revealed that 80 percent of the shoot has been completed. Only three action sequences featuring Prabhas remain to be filmed. Once these are finished, the entire shooting process will be concluded. The team is working diligently to wrap up the remaining portions.
The makers are still planning to release the film in October. If this timeline is achieved, it will be a significant treat for fans, as they may get to see Prabhas on screen twice within a single year. Although the team has not announced an exact date, they are targeting the Dussehra season for the release. Expectations for the film are exceptionally high.
Team Reacts After 'Fauzi' Set Leaks
A few days ago, some pictures from the sets were leaked online. In response, the team issued a strong warning on social media. They stated, “It has come to our attention that certain accounts are circulating leaked images from the sets of #Fauzi. Please treat this as a strict warning—any such content will be reported, and necessary action will be taken against those involved.”
They further added, “These leaks compromise the experience we are carefully building. What’s coming on the big screen will be far bigger and worth the wait. We urge everyone to refrain from sharing or engaging with leaked content.”
Director Hanu Raghavapudi also commented, saying, “We’ve poured our hearts into #Fauzi to give you something truly special. Humbly requesting everyone, please don’t spoil the magic with leaks. Let’s experience it the way it’s meant to be… together in theaters.”
About 'Fauzi'
In 'Fauzi,' Prabhas will portray a soldier who is described as a “battalion who fights alone.” Sharing the title and a poster of the film on Prabhas's birthday, the makers wrote, “#PrabhasHanu is #FAUZI, the bravest tale of a soldier from the hidden chapters of our history.”
The film features debutant Imanvi Esmail, also known as Imanvi, in the female lead role. It also includes Bollywood legends Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, and Jaya Prada in key supporting roles.
