What is the Plot of 'Warren'?

The storyline follows the life of driving instructor Warren Thompson, who is forced to move up north after his partner Anne Humphries' father gets sick and they have to care for him. He wishes to have a quiet life; however, he is pushed into a space he does not wish to live in, caring for a family he did not sign up for, and being stuck in a job he does not like.

The official synopsis for the show reads: "Warren has a way of knowing best and speaking his mind that inevitably leads to conflict, chaos and disaster for those around him – and especially for himself."

The show was created by Jimmy Donny Cosgrove and Paul McKenna. It is loosely based on Cosgrove's short film 'Warren Thompson Driving School', and Warren's character is based on his father.
