In a significant career shift, celebrated mandolin virtuoso Mandolin Rajesh is set to make his debut as a music composer for the upcoming Malayalam film 'Ken David'. This marks a new creative chapter for the renowned instrumentalist, who is stepping into the world of film scoring.
A Grand Launch with 'Guru Vandana'
The film is being produced by Ajrana Productions, which is marking its entry into Malayalam cinema with this project. To commemorate its launch, the production house organized a majestic 'Guru Vandana' tribute ceremony. This event was dedicated to honouring the iconic veterans and pillars of the Malayalam film industry.
The ceremony saw a star-studded lineup paying respects to legends. Legendary actor Madhu was felicitated by Madhu Pal, while veteran actor Janardhanan was honoured by actress Shanthi Krishna. Both veterans were draped with shawls as a gesture of deep respect.
The list of luminaries honoured was extensive and included:

Behind the Camera and Beyond
'Ken David' is directed by Raghu Menon, who is known for his work on the family drama 'Jawanum Mullappoovum'. The film represents a key project for the newly arrived production banner.
However, Ajrana Productions is not limiting its vision to a single film. The banner is already working on a mini-movie titled 'Lip Lock'. This project is directed and written by K. P. Krishnaprasad Somanathan, who gained recognition as the writer of the Bollywood film 'Interrogation'.
Launching a New Digital Frontier: 'Cave' OTT
In a strategic move to embrace digital storytelling, Ajrana Productions is also launching its own OTT platform named 'Cave'. The mini-movie 'Lip Lock' is slated for release directly on this new platform. The stated aim of 'Cave' is to deliver innovative and independent narratives directly to digital audiences, providing a fresh space for creative expression.
