'Four Story' Pooja Held in Kochi with Mix of Veteran & New Faces

The cinematic journey for the upcoming Malayalam film "Four Story" commenced officially with a traditional pooja and switch-on ceremony held at the Ernakulam YMCA Hall. The event marked the auspicious beginning for this project, which is written and directed by Shan Kechery.

Auspicious Start with Veteran Blessings

The function began in a conventional manner with the lighting of the Bhadradeepam lamp. The honour of lighting the lamp was given to a trio of well-respected directors from the industry: M. Padmakumar, Salam Bapu, and Vinod Guruvayur. Their presence signified a warm industry welcome for the new project.

Screenplay writer Darsaraj R shared moments from the event on his Instagram, expressing gratitude. He thanked Shan Kechery for believing in his writing and also paid respectful homage to the late director Bash Mohammed, who he credited with teaching him the first lessons of screenplay writing. "The rest will be seen on screen," he concluded, building anticipation for the narrative.

Blend of Experience and Fresh Talent in Casting

The film boasts an interesting ensemble cast that combines seasoned performers with new entrants. The pivotal male roles in "Four Story" will be played by Rajath Menon, Dr. Rajith Kumar, P.P. Kunji Krishnan, and Abin Ram.

Adding a fresh wave of talent, the movie introduces several newcomer heroines who are set to play central roles. The new faces include Selby Skaria, Ardra Gopakumar, Divya Thomas, Meethu, and Komalam. The story is reported to give strong importance to its women characters, revolving around the lives of six young women, with each character having her own distinct space and arc. The makers aim to present their emotions and situations in a relatable, simple manner.
