Jaipur Chai Festival Celebrates Tea Culture with Two-Day Extravaganza
Jaipur Chai Festival: A Two-Day Tea Celebration

The Pink City of Jaipur recently hosted a two-day extravaganza, the Jaipur Chai Festival, dedicated entirely to the magic of tea. Held at the Rajasthan International Centre, the festival brought together tea lovers, vendors, cafe owners, and startups under one roof to celebrate the diverse flavors and aromas of tea.

Event Highlights

The festival featured a variety of attractions, including talk shows, an art exhibition, workshops, and chat sessions highlighting the importance of tea. A fashion show depicted its cultural significance, and there were activities for all ages. Organized by young entrepreneurs Mona Sharma and Shashank Verma, the event aimed to make the city's tea-drinking experience unique and innovative.

Organizers' Vision

Mona Sharma shared, 'As we all know, India is the largest tea consumer in the world. It is not just a household beverage but an emotion. Whether it is a five-star hotel or a roadside kiosk, tea caters to a diverse customer base and is loved by all. So we thought of hosting an event to celebrate chai, a simple beverage, in a unique way.' Shashank added, 'This is a first-of-its-kind festival, and we are planning to make it an annual affair, adding something new to the city’s cultural calendar.'
