Whitney Leavitt Departs 'The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives'

Whitney Leavitt, a full-time cast member of 'The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives' since its debut in 2024, has officially announced her departure from the show. The news was shared by The Hollywood Reporter, revealing that Leavitt made the announcement while performing with her castmates in the musical 'Chicago' on stage. Sunday marked her final performance in the play, which attracted a record number of attendees.

Production Resumes Amid Cast Changes

Earlier this year, production on the hit reality series was halted after Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen faced domestic abuse allegations, leading to three separate investigations. Many cast members refused to work with Paul, prompting the show's cancellation. Recently, it was confirmed that production would resume without Paul. However, Leavitt's exit places the show in a challenging position. At present, there is no confirmation on whether Leavitt will appear in season 5 as a guest, as a full cast member for the final time, or not at all.

The reality TV show began in September 2024 and quickly gained popularity. Following the controversy involving Paul and Mortensen, the show's future was uncertain. Now, with Leavitt's departure, the series faces further cast upheaval as it prepares to return to screens.
