Actress Tina Parekh recently revealed a deeply hurtful experience she faced while working on the television show Dollar Bahu. Speaking on a podcast with Siddharth Kannan, she recounted an interaction with veteran actor Ranjeet that left her feeling humiliated and demoralized.
The Incident
Parekh described the encounter as one of the worst in her career. She recalled being nervous around Ranjeet, whom she admired since childhood. Excited to have two scenes with him, she approached him, but his response was unexpected and harsh. She said, "I remember he said, 'Don't waste your time. Where do you come from? Go.' He walked away, took a line and came back. I was heartbroken because I thought he was such a well-known actor, such a senior actor. How can someone talk to you like that? I was so humiliated and demoralized."
Lesson Learned
Reflecting on the incident, Parekh noted that it taught her an important lesson. She stated, "Sometimes something bad happens for a good reason. It taught me that if I ever become a star, make me a humble and good one. It taught me never to be that person." She shared a clip of the podcast on Instagram, emphasizing that every instance in life teaches a lesson and helps one grow. She added that she holds nothing against anyone.
Fan Reactions
After sharing the video, fans praised her grace and maturity in handling the situation. Many commented on her post, applauding her positive outlook. Parekh is known for her roles in popular shows like Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii and Khichdi.
