Sikligar, Vanjara Sikh devotees from Bengaluru visit Golden Temple

A jatha from Bengaluru comprising Sikligar and Vanjara Sikh devotees arrived at the Golden Temple on Wednesday as part of a special outreach initiative supported by the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC).

The group, led by Jarnail Singh and organised by Gurdwara Singh Sabha Bengaluru, along with the Karnataka Sikh Welfare Society, was received by SGPC president Harjinder Singh Dhami.

The visit forms part of SGPC's ongoing efforts to connect Sikligar and Vanjara Sikhs with their religious heritage. Alongside facilitating visits to prominent gurdwaras, the committee has also been supporting the education of children from these communities by covering their school fees.
