Kanpur: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat attended a pre-wedding ceremony in the Azad Nagar area on Thursday. The bride, Vasundhara, is the granddaughter of Virendrajeet Singh, former regional Sanghchalak of the Sangh, and daughter of senior social worker and chartered accountant Neetu Singh. Vasundhara is set to marry Yash on June 21.
Security and VIP Presence
Bhagwat arrived with Z-Plus security arrangements and made his exit from platform number 2 in an e-cart. The ceremony was attended by several VIPs, including Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana, state ministers Suryapratap Shahi and Yogendra Upadhyay, as well as minister Bhupendra Chaudhary.
Family's Long Association with RSS
Neetu Singh’s family has a long-standing association with the Sangh, reflecting deep-rooted connections within the organization. Following the event, Bhagwat departed for New Delhi via the Shatabdi Express.
