Rhea Chakraborty Takes Social Media Break, Cites Pressure

Rhea Chakraborty has decided to step away from social media, revealing that the constant noise and pressure of staying connected online have become overwhelming. On Tuesday, the actress shared an emotional note on social media, admitting she misses her old self and wants to reconnect with reality by living more in the moment.

‘I Miss Simply Being’

In her heartfelt post, Rhea expressed a desire to slow down and prioritize real-life experiences over constantly documenting them online. “Lately, I’ve been missing myself a little. The constant noise, the scrolling, the keeping up — it’s all started to feel heavier than I expected. I miss being present without thinking about capturing the moment. I miss quiet. I miss simply being,” she wrote.

The actress further revealed her plan to take a temporary break to focus on herself. “So, I’m taking a step back for a while — to slow down, breathe a little deeper, and reconnect with what feels real. Choosing lived moments over posted ones, for now. See you soon,” Rhea added.

Rhea Chakraborty to Return to Acting with ‘Family Business’

On the work front, Rhea Chakraborty is preparing for her acting comeback with the upcoming Netflix drama Family Business. Earlier, while reflecting on her comeback journey, the actress shared an emotional message on Instagram. “7 years have passed since I went to set .. But I’m still the same girl who came to Bombay at 17 with a dream to be an actor. A part of me moved on, but a part of me stayed and waited. And I’m here, once again in my chapter2. It seems Life is what happens to you while you’re busy making other plans,” she wrote.

Rhea Chakraborty was last seen on screen in 2021 in Chehre alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi. She has also featured in films such as Jalebi and Mere Dad Ki Maruti.
