Global star Priyanka Chopra Jonas recently gave her fans a glimpse into her love for food as she relished some juicy Himayat mangoes in Hyderabad during a hectic shooting schedule. The actress took to Instagram Stories to share her mango moments, starting with a picture of a tiffin box filled with diced mangoes. She captioned it: "Mango season... #himayat #hyderabadimangoes." Himayat mangoes, known for their unique taste, are often considered the 'King among Mangoes' by connoisseurs.
In another post, Priyanka shared a video of herself getting ready in her vanity van, with a bowl of mangoes placed right in front of her. She simply wrote: "Mango love." The actress is currently in Hyderabad shooting for the upcoming film 'Varanasi', directed by SS Rajamouli. The movie also stars Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran. The plot follows the adventures of Rudhra as the city of Varanasi faces an impending asteroid arrival, spanning multiple timelines and continents. Rajamouli reportedly conceived the film as a globetrotting adventure rooted in Indian cultural themes, inspired by classic adventure cinema.
Filming has taken place extensively in Hyderabad, Odisha, and Kenya. With a budget of Rs 1,000-1,300 crore, 'Varanasi' is set to become one of the most expensive Indian films ever made. It is scheduled for theatrical release in April 2027. Priyanka, a two-time National Film Award winner and Padma Shri recipient, has also been roped in for 'Krrish 4', marking Hrithik Roshan's directorial debut. Additionally, she will star alongside Hollywood actor Orlando Bloom in the survival thriller 'Reset', directed by Matt Smukler. The film follows a woman who wakes up in the wilderness with no memory of how she got there, and her only chance at survival is to trust a charming stranger who may not be who he claims to be.
