Princess Catherine Reveals Morning Routine with Prince William and Puppy Otto
Princess Catherine Reveals Morning Routine with Otto

Ever wondered what mornings look like at Kensington Palace? When the alarm goes off at 6 in the morning, is Prince William reaching for the snooze button? Or is Catherine, Princess of Wales, checking her phone? Or perhaps there is some elaborate routine we are not even aware of?

Well, you do not have to wonder anymore. The Princess of Wales has finally revealed her morning rituals, and they are surprisingly similar to those in most of our households. When the alarm goes off, it is more about keeping up with the everyday chaos rather than royal perfection.

The Morning at Kensington Palace

During a recent Buckingham Palace garden party, the Princess shared a rare glimpse of her otherwise private family life with Prince William and their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. And honestly, her biggest challenge is not navigating royal protocols or planning state dinners; it is keeping up with Otto, their adorable one-year-old puppy, who has become the family's newest (and most chaotic) member.

While chatting with a guest at the event, the Princess shared that Otto is quite the troublemaker around the house. She revealed how the puppy had 'chewed quite a lot the other day', as per HELLO! The royals' mornings now revolve around Otto. "You have to keep them busy. The first thing we do in the morning is check, 'Has anyone taken Otto out?'" she said. The remark deeply resonated with the pet parents present at the event. Forget coffee or checking emails—the first priority is, of course, finding the whereabouts of the mischievous pup.

The Garden Party Event

The garden party, hosted by Catherine and her husband, Prince William, welcomed thousands of guests to the lawns of the palace on 8 May. According to the royal family's official website, "Garden Parties are an important way for members of the Royal Family to speak to a broad range of people from all walks of life, all of whom have made a positive impact in their community."

The mother of three looked ethereal in a cream dress from Self-Portrait. She borrowed a sentimental piece—the earrings of the late Queen Elizabeth. Her personal bracelet also did not go unnoticed at the second soirée of the season.

Welcome to the Family, Otto

Meanwhile, the royal family recently introduced Otto, their newest family member. Earlier this month, Kensington Palace shared a picture of the puppy's first birthday and said, "Welcome to the family, Otto! 1 today."
