Actor Naman Shaw, who is currently seen portraying Adit Saxena in the television show Mangal Lakshmi, has just returned from a delightful vacation in the Maldives with his family and close friends. The trip was a brief yet refreshing break that was carefully planned around his busy shooting schedule.
Planning the Getaway
Naman revealed that the vacation was organized a month in advance, primarily for the children's enjoyment. He explained, "We planned it a month back for the kids' vacation. We picked the Maldives because I had a shoot in four days. It was the quickest way to get a real break." The actor traveled with his wife, son Krivaan, and two other family friends, making the most of the short window of free time.
Impact on Character Portrayal
Playing a layered, grey character like Adit Saxena on a daily basis can be demanding. When asked whether a vacation disrupts or enhances his performance rhythm, Naman shared his perspective: "For me, stepping away actually helps. When you're playing a character every day, it's easy to get stuck in a routine. A short break allows you to return with fresh energy and sometimes even discover new layers to the character. The first day back takes a little adjustment, but after that, it feels natural again."
Balancing Work and Disconnection
In the fast-paced television industry, vacations are rare, and complete disconnection is even more uncommon. Naman admitted that he could not switch off entirely from work. "I tried my best to disconnect, but in our profession, it's never completely possible. I did receive a few scenes that I had to do dubbing for, but I made a conscious effort to limit work-related conversations and focus on enjoying the break," he said.
