In the post, he affectionately referred to the duo as 'Dhurandhar' and 'legends.'

Mandar shared a picture on Instagram posing alongside Rakesh Bedi, who gained fame for playing Jameel Jamali in Aditya Dhar's Dhurandhar duology, and Dilip Joshi, who essays the beloved character Jethalal Gada in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. The caption read: 'With Dhurandhar (1) and Dhurandhar (2)… it’s so joyful and fun to share the screen with these two legends… thank you, God.'

About the Shows

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is based on the weekly column Duniya Ne Undha Chasma by Tarak Mehta for the magazine Chitralekha. Produced by Asit Kumarr Modi, it is one of the longest-running television series in India. The show is set in Mumbai and revolves around the lives of residents of Gokuldham Co-operative Housing Society, a diverse community representing various cultural and regional backgrounds.

On the other hand, Dhurandhar is a high-stakes covert counter-terrorism operation film. The second installment follows an undercover Indian intelligence agent who infiltrates Karachi’s criminal syndicates and Pakistani politics while avenging the 26/11 attacks and confronting larger threats. The storyline loosely draws from several real-life geopolitical events and conflicts in South Asia. The film stars Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, Gaurav Gera, and Danish Pandor.

Mandar Chandwadkar's Career

Apart from his iconic role in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Mandar is also a seasoned theatre artist. He formed his own theatre group in 1998 and has performed in three Hindi-Marathi comedies. Additionally, he has directed several one-act plays. Mandar has been active in both Hindi and Marathi television serials and has acted in over 30 shows, showcasing his versatility as an actor.
